Additional Terms and Conditions for Landscape Contractors

To purchase wholesale from Matsuda´s the following items must be observed:

Company Information

Your company must have a completed New Customer Account Application on file with Matsuda´s.

You may fax your completed form to (916) 689-8218. Please mail the original completed and signed form to: P.O. Box 276547, Sacramento, CA 95827

This allows COD or point of purchase only.

If at any time, your account information changes, please submit an
Account Change Form.

License

Matsuda´s must have on file a copy of one the following active licenses:

• Contractor´s License: A, B, or C-27
• Architect´s License
• Arborist´s Certification
• License to sell Nursery Stock issued by the state
• Business License in a related field
  - Landscape Maintenance Company
  - Landscape Design Company

 

Credit Purchases

Your credit must be approved prior to purchases on credit. Please fax and mail original completed and signed Credit Application.

Ordering Policies for Landscape Contractor

Will Call Orders

We encourage phone-in orders. We have a crew that will select the best available plant material and set it in the holding area. We ask that these orders, be phoned in at least a day in advance, if possible. We can help with last-minute orders if time allows. ORDERS WILL BE HELD FOR 10 CALENDAR DAYS.

Delivery Orders

We deliver to many locations in northern and central California. We do not charge for deliveries but we require the order be a minimum of $1000.00. Orders for delivery require at least 2 days advance notice for organizing and routing purposes with a minimum 2-hour window for drop time. Orders are occasionally held for consolidation to certain delivery areas.

We ask that a representative from your company be at the delivery site to accept the plant material and to help unload the truck. Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to shipping date.

Please Note: Our company policy prohibits us from driving or parking on any residential driveways to prevent damage to the driveways.

Quantity Discounts

We offer discounts on large, one-time orders that are submitted for bid. This process can take up to a few days to complete so it is necessary to submit a complete plant list as soon as possible. Discounts are determined on the dollar amount of the order.

We also offer a Perennial Special for selected plants grown by Matsuda´s of Sacramento. To receive discount, orders must include 100 or more perennials (mix or match), picked up or delivered at one time.

See your sales representative for a selection list and pricing. Once you have an approved login and password you may check the hot sheets for weekly specials.

Special Orders

If we are temporarily out of certain plants, you can request a special order. Generally, if the plants are available they will arrive in 7 to 10 days, often sooner. We do not require a deposit, but we do ask for your commitment to purchase the plants.

Return Policy

We accept returned plant material for credit only based upon the following conditions:

1. The original invoice must accompany returns.
2. Returns must be made within 10 days of purchase.
3. Return of damaged or planted material will not be accepted.
4. Plants need to be returned in the same condition as you bought them.

 

Claims

All claims must be made immediately upon receipt of goods. We will not honor claims which are filed after goods have been accepted or which are not made within seven days after arrival.

Non-Warranty

We will exercise extreme care in labeling all plants properly. We give no warranty, expressed and/or implied, as to the variety or productivity of the nursery stock purchased. No liability will be assured for any contingency beyond our control.

Website Access

Current customers may complete the online Application for Website Access. A Matsuda representative will review your application and notify you via email of your approval. Website access allows you to view the catalog/prices, current availability and hot sheets.
